MEOMEOMY beats the super Muir Beach today

Meomeomy won the 4 th at Turf Paradise- allowance on the turf at 7.5 furlongs-purse $17,200.
We ran by the super Muir Beach (Multiple stakes winner of over $450,000) to win by 1.5 lengths. Hector Ventura sat behind the speed til mid turn coming home and went 5 wide and just "Blew them away".

Muir Beach was 1 to 9 odds and we were 4 to 1. Hector timed the race perfectly and had his way with this field.
Am proud of all connections-Charles for training, Ramona for helping keep the mare sound -and especially for our friend Hector.
Meomeomy was bred here at the farm--she is by our old teaser MY OMEN-recently deceased and out of Raizel by Chisos-our Alydar stud and out of Pachena Bay who is out of the great PACHENA. Will have race photos later.
We did have some fun today. Yesterday was not so good. Who Dat one nine ran poorly in his first turf start. We hope he just didn't like turf. We Will See.

Now that's what I call a great bedtime
story!!! I really love that mare, Dean. She's always reminded me of
good ol' Omen in many ways and then I
think her personality is so much like
her dam's side. She just has such
a wonderful family from my point of view. I love it that she finally got
a clear run at the wire! That is all she has really needed!!! Muir Beach is such a wonderful horse to beat! Like Anne says, Me O will find trouble if it is out there--she's a tough racehorse tho--just like her family. That was
a fun one!

Good for Me O! Wasn't she the one that got beat by a dirty nose! Omen must be looking down and and feeling very proud of his family, both horse and human.
