Hi Dean, congrats to you and Charles for all the recent wins. Enjoyed the newspaper article about your Thoroughbreds. Congrats too on all beautiful new babies! Isn't spring wonderful?
We just moved to the Granite Falls area from WI, one of the new builds on 183rd that backs up to your property. Your horses are just amazing to watch!! My daughter is 11 (12 in July) and is very interested in visiting the ranch and would love to help out in any manner you might let her. She has attended multiple horse camps. Miranda has volunteered at a Therapy Ranch in Oro Valley AZ, groomed and tacked horses, side walked for multiple lessons and camps, bathed and cooled down horses and was able to participate and volunteer at a equestrian show. She was at the ranch anywhere from 4-8 hours a day, just to be around the horses. While living in Miami for a time she was priveledged to have a Black Arabian quarter horse that she rode and cared for. She has also helped at a camp we frequented in Iowa, near our previous home in WI. (We traveled for 3 years with my husbands job) Miranda is homeschooled and would love to help out. She has never been around racing horses, so they speed they take the field and their mannerisms are just fascinating to us. I have observed her frequently and all of her instructors/ employers have expressed that she has "the bug" in her blood...it is not just a passing fancy for her. Thank you for your consideration and we are blessed to have your horses as our NEIGHbors!
Sincerely, Kathleen (Miranda's mom)
