The last 10 days has seen a huge salmon spawning in the river. This looks like (to me) the largest in many years. You can see dozens at a time some days. A beautiful sight.
Weather has been rainey and mild. Some sun shine between showers. Temps in the 50s so not too cold. Good weather for riding colts.

The fall salmon season here in Alaska was barren to say the least.
you must have had all our fish!
Truthfully, the indian summer was probably a big factor because salmon won't spawn in warm water.
Got some amazing pictures of the beautiful Alaska scenery though!
