Kissntheboysgoodby won an allowance race going 6 furlongs on Valentines Day with a nice $14,600 purse. Under a very patient ride by our regular "bug Girl" Kate Repp, she came from behind and won in 109.79 seconds. Kate is winning at a very good 20% clip--It bodes well for her and us. She has been working with us for 4-5 years and we take great pride in "claiming her" as a "homebred".We will have photos posted in 4-5 days. It was especially pleasing as Dean thot that Kisses needed a mile to be a nice mare. Lou Foster,Vicky James and John and Mary Charlton were here to share the win on TVG. A super time was had by all. Lots of fun at the mutuals also.
Then on 17 Feb 06 -Chronic Iced tea won a claimer with Kate's "again" patient ride and won convincingly coming from off the pace. It was a $3,000 claimer-NW of 2 in six months. Good to see the old warrior back in the winners circle. Again Lou Foster was here with phone contact with John and Mary and Vicky. Nice at the windows also.
Charles is moving the whole stable to Emerald next week. Will give some horses a little "freshen up" before Emerald opens on 19 April 06. Will also get some two year olds rotated into the track so they can start to learn "track living". We have lots of promising two year olds , but most are fillys. Only two geldings. Also some "firsters" as three year olds. We have two nice four and up mares in Kisses and Meomeomy along with three nice three year old fillys-Tickle Us, Owen the Bank, Star Fix and one nice gelding -Lightning Sharp and several more that have not yet been to the track.
All in All, a very promising start to the 2006 Emerald season.--Photos next week.

Kate had two winners today! We are so proud of her. I can't get anything done around here anymore due to the races!
