Vaccinations on the mares and riding 2 year olds

On the Stillaguamish River near the head of the little Island under a nice Maple tree-"Summertime and the livin' is easy" Lots of good memories here. Been a good place to spend the past 26 years-This is the most beautiful farm in Western Washington. Will be selling the top part for housing but the lower will remain a wonderful farm. Should have permits to develope the top lots in a month or so. Then I will sell separately or together.

Me and my mule "Lil Scooter" with Natalie on "X" doing a little jumping practice

Eduvides and Adrianna and I drove up top (the 27 acre parcel that we are getting a preliminary plot approval to put in 20 lots) it is about 150 feet above the river with great views of the mountains and the Stillaguamish river and the lower farm pastures to vaccinate the recently weaned mares. Was raining a little but still was great to see the horses doing so well. Carrying good flesh into the coming fall. Next week, we wil bring down the 7 yearlings and start breaking them. We drive them with someone leading them at the head for several days til we get a "handle" on them , ie-turn right, left, stop, relax all the while carrying a saddle. Then we ride them once in the stall -then once around the barns and then ride them up top alongside "lil Scooter" my saddle mule.

They rode "Owen The Bank", Star fix, and Tickle us --to gallop a mile getting ready to get in the trailer tomorrow and go to Phoenix with Charles. They are two year olds getting a litle break from the track before going into serious training in Phoenix.

Oh my God I never get tired of that
view. We have all been blessed to
be able to be a part of the farm--
Loved the latest on mares and riding. So glad that Star Fix is
enjoying the gallops of her home
pastures. She is coming along so
beautifully. Time for Owen to get
to work now! It's going to be fun
to see her get into racing shape!
Love the new name!!! Vicki

I feel sad that the top land will be divided but time and with it change marches on.
