Connie Hoge's new Meridian Saddle

My oldest granddaughter, McKenzie, sitting in Connie's new saddle. Note where her legs hang as related to the spot where the stirrups hang. She was not posed for this photo-just told to sit on the saddle. Her legs automatically hang where the stirrups hang.

Note that McKenzie is sitting "straight up" from behind.

Rear view of craftsmanship-#101

Connie's new saddle #101 made by Mike Barnhart at Meridian Saddlery,Meridian ,Idaho--This is a copy of #729 made by same saddlery-by Don Mittleider in 1970.

Connie and Kari-both recipients of the results of a Meridian Saddlery Saddle.

Here's Connie at a 25 mile endurance ride on her new saddle. Note the "straight up" fun by horse and rider-confident but relaxed. Good "contact " hands on rider and mare in "neutral."
