He won a "starters allowance" race for horses that have started for $4,000 claim in the past year. The purses are ok and he isn't eligible to be claimed. Miguell rode him perfectly. If he is "back on track", he can win several at this level. WE have Star Fix, a partnership horse raised and owned by Essex, James, and Foster (sounds like a law firm)running on Friday for her first race in a Maiden Allowance.
Frank Foster, Vicky James and I sent Uhh ooo to Helmsman for breeding in California and Vicky named the filly Star Fix. Frank is still with us in spirit and his wife Louise will be cheering her down the stretch. In the third race Friday, Meomeomy is running in a $14,100 allowance race going a mile on the turf. Might play a few tri's and a couple pick 3's.
