Sunday morning comin' Down

Kind of a damp cool winter A.M.. Teased all the mares this morning. My Omen, our teaser thot--What a Great Day-Cultured 4 of them-and will send to Bets Labs in Kentucky to get results. Their results mean something. They know when to do sensitivity testing. Costs more, but results , in my opinion are great. Also found three mares showing "standing heat', that is, they were receptive to the teaser. On ultrasounding these mares, none was ready to conceive today. We are just getting a line on these mares now. Won't start the actual; breeding until after February first so foals are born after January first. Eduvides is riding colts every day. They are all doing good. Each different and at a different stage in their learning experience. I love to help train babies. NOW THAT IS FUN. I go with him on Lil Scooter, my saddle mule. She is getting pretty fit. Mckenzie, my grandaughter, will come out this afternoon and stay over to ride her horse and have farm fun. Look for Adrianna and Susan to come out later. Adrianna rides colts, cleans stalls, catches horses and generally keeps the farm rolling.
