One of our true "homebreds"--Our stud-"TROPIC LIGHTNING"-We bred and raced the dam-Raizel-Kissnthe boysgoodby won a nice allowance race at Turf Paradise Saturday -7 Jan 06 on the TURF for her first turf race. Quite a impressive race-she showed lots of acceleration on the final turn and in the homestretch. AND SHE PAID $34 to win -nice $1 super -$3,700. It was a nice allowance NW other than. Our great friends , John and Mary Charlton took Ramona's truck and trailer to Phoenix so they were there for the race. Great time had by all. Should have 3 win photos to post about next Friday.

Seven of our eight 2 year olds that Eduvides, Adrianna and I are breaking have been rode up top. The last one goes up top tomorrow.

Last Sunday-Eduvides and Adrianna rode babies up on the tree farm (About 20 miles from here). Really helps them mature to haul them away from the farm-expose them to other things. Mike Pattison walked part way with us til we came to a three foot deep running stream. Then he got on the back of me on Lil Scooter (my saddle mule) and we finished the day. All went well except Lilly Dust cut her forehead pretty good in the trailer on the way-and we sutured it up when we got home. Very pleasant day with nice folk. Babies learned lots.
